When I called Oakland Wood Floors I was promptly scheduled for an appointment for an estimate and felt as if they were really going to come through with meeting the date. I had called other contractors and some never showed up or where hours late for the estimate. Service & Quality- On the day of the estimate, Luis came to my home and really took the time to explain the different finishes. I was pregnant at the time and was looking for a non-toxic finish on my floors since my baby would be crawling around.I picked a low voc floor coating which meant no smells. The stain also came in great colors - I picked three dark colors and they were sampled on my floor so I could decide which one I ultimately wanted. On the day of the work, the 2 person team was on time and very professional. The process took two days. Day 1 - the floors were sanded and they used a dustless finishing system which meant no dust. I also had a very bad stain that they couldn't remove by sanding and luckily they were able to offer a very low cost solution - remove the plank and stain to -match the rest of the floor. Day 2 - they stained the floor and explained the curing process. They also suggested I wait a few days to make sure that the stain had come out as I expected and that on final inspection I was 100% satisfied.
Cost & Value - prices to be competitive and also offered a 1 year warranty .
Satisfaction - floor is beautiful and I am thoroughly happy with their work!

I just had my floors redone by Oakland Wood Floors and I was very impressed with how professional, efficient and BEAUTIFUL their work was! In and out in one day! I would and will recommed them to anyone! VERY HAPPY :)

Oakland Hardwood Floors was great company to use. We had our floors refinished. They got the job done in two days. They offered us variety of opinions from what kind stain to use and what look great at an affordable price. I highly recommend this company.

My 97 year old wood floors needed an update. The estimator from Oakland Wood Floors was timely and informative. He explained each of the processes and products that could be provided. The crew that did the work had to arrive several hours later than promised but stayed well into the night to keep the job on schedule. The result was golden oak floors shining like new. I am happy with the skill and dustless service I received from Oakland Wood Floors and would use them again.

It is very seldom that we receive quality service with the deflated dollar today. I had committed to providing a project each year to my home. Since my budget is tight (like so many), I had to decide what project would give me more value for my money. I had an existing carpet on my floors, but the stress of vacuuming and shampooing was wearing me. I had also incorporated a new mind set in reusing or recycling goods to save the environment and to avoid depleting our natural resources. The Oakland Wood Floor Co was the key to satisfying my needs and consciousness tor my finances and global issues. The work was professional and speedy and the dustless procedure was clean and the water repellent was valuable in expediting the three day service. Plus the restoration was impeccable.

recently used Oakland Wood Floors to refinish the floors throughout my entire house. I had an estimator come to my home and give me a thorough and fair estimate. We discussed different options and then chose one that best fit my needs and price range. Once work had commenced, Oakland Wood Floors was nothing but great. In addition to the regular service providing one price for the whole job, Oakland Wood Floors offers the unique ability to rent their crew by the day. You just pay a daily labor cost plus materials, most of which you can preorder/supply yourself. I went this route originally thinking I would hire the crew for one day to sand the 800 square feet of wood floors in my house and then apply the finish myself. But after thinking it through and running the numbers, I just decided to hire them for the 3 days it would take to do the whole job. This was the right way to go. The 2 man crew was very skilled and hardworking. They had a strong attention to detail, listened to my feedback, and left me with not only quality looking floors but also a feeling I got value for my money. What more can you ask for? They did the work, I got to provide the specific finish I wanted and set the number of coatings, and now I am a happy customer who will use their service again when I get around to pulling up the rugs in the last two rooms in the house and installing hardwood.

We recently had hardwood floors added to our kitchen. We have a new installation with water base and we are thrilled with the look of the floors. We had a great experience with the company and have recommended the company to our friends. They were quick, efficient, friendly, and the price was great. Our kitchen looks great.
