Great follow through and quality work!

When I called Oakland Wood Floors I was promptly scheduled for an appointment for an estimate and felt as if they were really going to come through with meeting the date. I had called other contractors and some never showed up or where hours late for the estimate. Service & Quality- On the day of the estimate, Luis came to my home and really took the time to explain the different finishes. I was pregnant at the time and was looking for a non-toxic finish on my floors since my baby would be crawling around.I picked a low voc floor coating which meant no smells. The stain also came in great colors - I picked three dark colors and they were sampled on my floor so I could decide which one I ultimately wanted. On the day of the work, the 2 person team was on time and very professional. The process took two days. Day 1 - the floors were sanded and they used a dustless finishing system which meant no dust. I also had a very bad stain that they couldn't remove by sanding and luckily they were able to offer a very low cost solution - remove the plank and stain to -match the rest of the floor. Day 2 - they stained the floor and explained the curing process. They also suggested I wait a few days to make sure that the stain had come out as I expected and that on final inspection I was 100% satisfied. Cost & Value - prices to be competitive and also offered a 1 year warranty . Satisfaction - floor is beautiful and I am thoroughly happy with their work!
